BIA-RRV Marketing & Sales Intern Taylor Van Winkle's (left) last day was Aug. 15 as she returned to school full-time at the University of North Dakota.
Communications Intern Abby Marthaller's (right) last day will be Aug. 22 as she moves on to her full-time job with Brimm Marketing.
Both were summer interns and assisted with any tasks they were given, including event and office support, making sales calls, social media, photography and communications. We wish them all the best in their future adventures and are thankful for their help, attention to detail and enthusiasm!

2026 RRV Home & Garden Show
Inspired Spaces is back
|
The Inspired Spaces Showcase is coming back for the 2026 RRV Home & Garden Show! Interior design students from North Dakota State University are teaming up with area interior designers to craft innovative 10' x 12' "flex spaces."
These vignettes will be showcased on the west wall of the Fargodome floor and redefine the possibilities of home design. The public will vote on them and the winning team will receive scholarship funds from Home Builders Care of F-M Foundation.
Want to assist with this effort? Vendors and contractors, and one interior designer, are still needed. Contact Paige Feeney at (701) 232-5846.
The 2026 Red River Valley Home & Garden Show will be Feb. 27 - March 1 at the Fargodome. Don't wait to select your prime space. Early registration ends Oct. 13.

Sept. 11 Commercial Builders Roundtable Calling all commercial BIA members and those curious about the association! Join us for a roundtable discussion where we invite you to share your thoughts on the challenges facing the commercial side of our industry. This is a great opportunity to connect with peers who may be experiencing similar issues and to collaborate on solutions. Cost is free for members.

Sept. 15 High Noon Shootout Get ready for trap shooting, camaraderie, and connection. The High Noon Shootout will feature two rounds of trap shooting, followed by a steak dinner, socializing, and prizes. We’ll wrap up with an exciting Annie Oakley competition! Cost is $85 if registered by Sept. 1.

Sept. 16 Lunch Session: Understanding Building Pressure with RJ Energy Solutions Both negative and positive building pressure can lead to a host of problems including higher energy costs, uncomfortable indoor environments and even structural damage. Without a clear understanding of the root causes, attempts to fix these issues often make things worse. Cost is $20 and includes lunch.

Sept. 20-22 & 27-29 Parade of Homes Fall Edition Since its inception in the fall of 1961, this community event has been a pillar of our region, rooted in the vision of local trendsetters in the construction industry. Over the decades, the Parade has grown into a celebration of craftsmanship and creativity, reflecting the spirit of home building in our community. Entry registration is closed. Limited advertising is available.
