This CPR/AED/First Aid course equips participants with the essential skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Through hands-on practice and instructor-led demonstrations, learners will gain the ability to recognize emergencies, provide immediate care and take life-saving action while waiting for professional responders to arrive.The class covers critical topics such as adult CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), controlling bleeding, managing shock, caring for burns, responding to choking incidents, and addressing common injuries and sudden illnesses.
Participants will practice step-by-step procedures to ensure they can act quickly, calmly, and safely during real-world situations.By the end of the training, attendees will understand the fundamentals of emergency response and be better prepared to protect the health and safety of coworkers, family members and the public.

About our instructors:
This class will be instructed by Brian Lauwers and Jennifer Erickson with U.S. Compliance (formerly OSHA + Environmental Compliance Systems (OECS)).
Brian Lauwers, CHST is USC's manager of health and safety and Jennifer Erickson, ASP is their EHS - Client Manager & CEU Coordinator. Lauwers has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and Erickson has over 15 years. Both service the safety needs of clients throughout North Dakota and Minnesota.
