Advocacy Update

  • City of Horace Sanitary Sewer Notice - The city will no longer allow sanitary sewer to be connected to the televising sanitary sewer risers within the city of Horace.
  • Minnesota Legislative Session Ended May 19 - As time was dwindling, a lengthy omnibus bill was passed that included multiple provisions. Please note that there is still some time for Gov. Walz to sign or veto various bills and then we will know more information.

  • Building Industry Connect (pictured above) - BIA members had a great time building relationships with city staff from the city of Moorhead on May 15. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet newcomers and connect with those who have served Moorhead for years.

The latest Permits Plus is here!

Welcome to the second issue of Permits Plus sharing housing data for the F-M metro and neighboring communities. It includes:

  • Local 2024 building permits though March,
  • Current seasonally adjusted unemployment rates and mortgage rates and
  • Data from the National Association of Home Builders, plus much more.
