April 15 Breakfast Session: Mental Health in the Workplace/Building Industry. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2021, the construction industry had the second-highest rate of suicide among its workers. Fifty-six out of every 100,000 male construction workers died by suicide in 2021, compared to 32 per 100,000 male workers in all industries. Cost is $20 and includes breakfast. Virtual and in-person options available.

April 30 Building Officials Roundtable is an interactive opportunity for builders and contractors to hear about the most recent code changes and expectations directly from the top. Local officials from throughout the metro area and beyond will discuss compliance issues and present information and scenarios that will reduce surprises. They will also take questions and comments. Cost is $20 and includes lunch!

May 3-5 & 10-12 Parade of Homes Spring Edition Welcome to the BIA-RRV's Parade of Homes – where the warmth of tradition meets the excitement of innovation in home design and construction. Since its inception in the fall of 1961, this community event has been a pillar of our region, rooted in the vision of local trendsetters in the construction industry. Registration is due March 20.
