Building Industry Connect with Traill County EDC April 15 Join us for a conversation with Jim Murphy, Executive Director, and Alyssa Short, Deputy Director of the Traill County Economic Development Commission. They'll share an overview of current initiatives, upcoming projects and opportunities available for businesses and communities in Traill County. Thank you to our series sponsor, Cass County Electric Cooperative. Registration is in-person only. Cost is $25 and includes lunch.

 

Purses, Pints & Power Tools Bingo April 16 Join the Professional Women in Building Council as they raise funds to provide scholarships for female students pursuing careers in the building trades. Only 100 tickets available for individuals 21+. Each ticket will include dinner, one drink and bingo cards. Bring a gently used purse or personal hygiene products to donate to a women-focused cause and receive an extra drink ticket. Cost is $50.

 

West Fargo Candidate Forum April 22 You're invited to join the BIA-RRV as we get to know the candidates hoping to serve as commissioners and mayor. All those running will be invited to participate! This is your chance to learn about their perspectives as they relate to building and housing.

Candidates will briefly discuss their platforms and then answer specific industry-related questions. There will be an opportunity for audience questions. Attendance is in-person only. Cost is free for members.

 

Quarterly Investment Review April 23 Join us for the Quarterly Investment Market Review, an exclusive session brought to you by BIA-RRV in partnership with Investment Consulting Services (ICS). This free, virtual, member-focused event will provide a concise and insightful overview of the key trends, developments and takeaways from investment markets. Cost is free for members.

 

Building Officials Roundtable April 23 is an interactive opportunity for builders and contractors to hear about the most recent code changes and expectations directly from the top. Local officials from throughout the metro area and beyond will discuss compliance issues and present information and scenarios that will reduce surprises. They will also take questions and comments. In-person and virtual attendance is available. Cost is $25 and includes lunch for in-person attendeese.
