Oct. 15 Building Industry Connect The BIA-RRV's Building Industry Connect sessions are a chance for our members to introduce the association and its goals. No presentations, no agendas and no parliamentary procedures. Just the chance for officials and members to learn about each other. The guest for October is to be determined. Admission is $25 for members.

 

Oct. 28 Retirement Planning: Risks to Avoid Are you between the ages of 50 and 65 and starting to think seriously about retirement? This in-person session is designed specifically for you. We’ll cover the most common risks that can threaten your retirement security — and how to avoid them. Admission is free for members.

 

Oct. 29 The Art of Influence: It All Begins with Trust

Leadership is all about influence and building influence is impossible without first building trust. During this session, you will learn: the things that build and break trust; your own level of “influence power;” and the CARE principle of influencing. RRV Home & Garden Show Feb. 27 - March 1 is celebrating 64 years in 2026. Organized by the Building Industry Association of the RRV, this annual event typically attracts 7,000 – 9,000 attendees. Registration is open and regular exhibit rates end Dec. 2.
