Angi scholarship opportunity

Angi, formerly Angie's List, is looking to award four $2,500 scholarships to those who meet eligibility requirements and submit a 1,000 to 2,000 word essay addressing the nation-wide problem of the decline of high school and college students pursuing careers in skilled trades.  

Applicants are to: 

1. Read the prompt and write a 1,000 to 2,000 word essay on one of three topics regarding the given prompt.
2. Complete the submission form by Aug. 23, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Angi's Pro Council will evaluate submissions and winners will be announced on or around Sept. 2, 2024.

Wondering if you are eligible to apply for this scholarship? Eligibility requires:

• Students 18 years or older.
• Accepted into and planning to attend a college, technical institute, or university during the 2024-2025 academic year.
• Studying residential design, construction, or maintenance.
• A U.S. resident.
