From Bingo to Building Futures: PWB Council Reinvests in Scholarships and Community

Turning Community Support into Meaningful Opportunities

The Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council, affiliated with the BIA of the Red River Valley and National Association of Home Builders, is proud to share the impact made possible through the support of sponsors, donors, volunteers and attendees who helped make this year's Purses, Pints & Power Tools Bingo fundraiser a success.

Thanks to the generosity of our building industry community, the PWB Council is able to continue investing in initiatives that strengthen the building industry by committing $5,000 to the BIA Foundation of the Red River Valley's PWBC Scholarship Fund. This contribution will help provide scholarship opportunities for female-students pursuing careers in the trades and related fields.

The remaining funds raised will support the council's ongoing outreach and engagement efforts throughout the year. These dollars will help fund giveaways and activities at the PWB Council's hole during the BIA Golf Outings, community service projects, and hands-on efforts at the annual Health, Tech & Trades Career Expo, where thousands of students are introduced to rewarding careers in the building industry.

To everyone who supported this year's event, thank you for helping turn an evening of fun into meaningful investments in workforce development and community engagement. The inaugural Purses, Pints & Power Tools Bingo fundraiser was made possible through the many businesses and individuals who contributed sponsorships, prizes, time, and enthusiasm. Every ticket purchased, item donated, and sponsorship commitment helps the PWB Council expand its impact and continue creating opportunities. Your generosity is making a lasting difference and helping build a stronger future for our industry.
