Home Builders Care approves Jeremiah Program grant

On March 6, the Home Builders Care Foundation of Fargo-Moorhead board of trustees approved a donation request from the Jeremiah Program, Fargo-Moorhead campus. The grant will provide supplies and fund necessary updates to the child development center and offices to meet recommended safety guidelines for lockdown procedures in the case of an active shooter or similar situations. It will also serve the 31 children in the child development center, as well as 23 staff and 18 resident moms currently at the center. 

In 2022, the Jeremiah Program Fargo-Moorhead campus served the highest number of families in its history. Five women graduated with post-secondary degrees. Six moms participated in the new career volunteer mentor program. Over 40 kids participated in high-quality summer enrichment opportunities to further support their educational development, increasing the chances of economic mobility for both generations.
