Scholarships available for high school students pursing careers in construction trades

Home Builders Care of Fargo-Moorhead Foundation, the charitable organization of the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley, is pleased to announce the availability of its annual scholarships to high school students interested in pursuing lucrative careers in the building trades. 

The application deadline is April 7, 2024. Winners will be announced after the application window closes. The online application form is available at hbcfm.com under the "scholarships" tab. 

Scholarships are available to high school students planning to attend Minnesota State Community and Technical College or North Dakota State College of Science. Proof of enrollment must be provided within 18 months of high school graduation. To be eligible, applicants must plan to enroll in a construction-trades-related field (e.g., plumbing, electrical, building construction technology, construction management, heating/air conditioning, etc.)

The minimum amount to be awarded is $500. Since its beginning, Home Builders Care Foundation has awarded over $388,000 in scholarship dollars.
