Herdina Construction Trades Camp Applications are Now Open

Individuals ages 15-20: Interested in experiencing the trades industry?

Student registration for the Herdina Construction Trades Camp is OPEN! Campers will get hands-on experience and classroom instruction in a variety of specialty occupations within the residential and commercial construction industry. Work side-by-side with contractors and other industry professionals to learn about occupations, tools, safety requirements and skills required for a rewarding career in the construction trades.

College scholarship opportunities available

Eligible campers will be invited to complete the college scholarship application during camp. Scholarship recipients will be announced at camp graduation, which occurs on the last day of camp. Thank you to the following for organizations for offering scholarship opportunities to campers interested in pursuing a career in the trades!

Herdina Camp Quick Facts

When: June 1-5 and June 8-12, 2026

Where: Minnesota State Community and Technical College (Moorhead) and TBD offsite building project.

Who: Applicants must be 15-20 years of age by the start of camp.

Time: Camp hours are 8 PM - 4:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 8 AM - 11:30 AM Friday. Attendance is mandatory.

Cost: Camp registration is $250. Financial assistance may be available
