Spring Parade wraps up six beautiful days

Thank you to everyone who visited the Parade of Homes Spring Edition! We had six beautiful days featuring 53 stunning homes constructed by our 29 builder participants and countless trade partners.

May 15 Commercial Builders Roundtable Join us for a roundtable discussion where we want to hear from you about the challenges facing the commercial side of our industry. This is a great opportunity to connect with peers who may be experiencing similar issues and to collaborate on solutions. We will also brainstorm how the BIA-RRV can play a role in addressing those challenges. Cost to attend is free for members!

 

May 21 Remodelers Council Picnic Please join the Remodelers Council as we celebrate National Home Remodeling Month with a free picnic lunch. Bring your whole crew but please register so we get enough food for all. Please bring an item to donate to ShareHouse's "Fill The House" Project. More information in the registration link. May 22 Building Industry Connect with the city of Horace (Registration is full.) We'll be joined by Community Development Director Jace Hellman, Councilmember Sarah Veit, and potentially more staff and officials. We'll discuss what's happening in the city and items related to the industry, including the Downtown Neighborhood Plan. Your questions will help guide the discussion. The Building Industry Connect sessions are sponsored by Cass County Electric Cooperative.

 

June 2-6 & 9-13 Herdina Construction Trades Camp Each day of camp at M State-Moorhead, students get hands-on experience through a community service construction project plus classroom instruction in a variety of specialty occupations within the construction industry. Students work with contractors and industry professionals to learn about occupations, tools, safety requirements and skills required for a rewarding career in the construction trades. Cost is $200 with three college credits available.

 

June 12 Kavira Health Education Webinar This new benefit from Kavira Health is available to employees enrolled in their employer’s medical plan with the Building Industry Health Plan. Join this webinar to learn more. We’ll review how this benefit works and allow time for Q&A. Kavira is a membership-based primary and urgent care clinic offering telehealth services, in-person house visits, and workplace visits.  Cost is free to attend!

 

Triple Tee-Off Golf Outings June 26, July 17 & Aug. 14 

Our most popular member events are back this summer, and we’re thrilled to host them at the beautiful Hawley Golf and Country Club! There’s something magical about summertime sunshine, fresh air, and the thrill of chasing that little white ball—especially when shared with peers and trade partners. Don’t miss this chance to connect, compete and celebrate the season. Cost is $175 per golfer!

 

July 9 Muddy Boots Picnic Join the BIA-RRV and Cass County Electric Cooperative for a free picnic to celebrate our metro area contractors and their crews! All members are invited to partake in this fun, annual grill-out featuring delicious brats and ice cream for dessert. It's the perfect opportunity to treat your team to lunch while relaxing under shaded seating. Cost is free to attend for members!
