After Hours for Alden fundraiser slated for Nov. 26 at The Pines

Greg and Piper Mitchell are a young couple and residents of the Fargo area. Greg was previously employed by Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Showroom for eight years before accepting a role as client relations manager for Hawthorne Custom Homes. Piper is a pharmacist and has been working in the field since graduating from North Dakota State University in 2019.

Come support the Mitchell family 3-7 p.m. Nov. 26 at The Pines as they embark on their second journey with a rare and incurable heart defect impacting both of their sons.

Greg and Piper’s first son, Harvey was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) less than two years ago. Harvey has already undergone two open heart surgeries and will need at least one more.

Now, after being advised that the chance of having another child with the devastating disease was nearly impossible, the Mitchell’s second son, Alden has been diagnosed. Alden will undergo the same three open heart surgeries as his big brother with the first occurring in the first days of his life. Our hope is to raise money to support this incredible family during what will be extremely challenging time physically, emotionally, and financially.
