Choice Bank donates $444,000 to Minnesota nonprofits

Choice Bank continues to show its commitment to the communities it serves with a generous $444,000 in donations to 26 nonprofits across Minnesota. Thanks to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines’ Member Impact Fund, which matched $3 for every $1 contributed, the impact of these donations was tripled, creating even greater support for organizations doing important work.

Several of these donations are making a meaningful difference in the Moorhead community. Organizations like Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity, HOPE Inc., A Place for Hope, and the First Presbyterian Church Food Justice Program all received support. From helping families achieve safe and stable housing, to providing adaptive sports opportunities to making fresh food more accessible, these contributions are fueling projects that directly improve lives in our community. Supporting communities isn’t just a goal for Choice Bank—it’s at the heart of everything they do, as Cristen Purdy, Market President of SBA and Community Impact Lending, explains.

We love seeing our members take such an active role in lifting up local families and businesses. Congratulations to Choice Bank on this milestone, and thank you for continuing to invest in the people and communities that make our region such a great place to live and work.
