Habitat for Humanity FM seeks volunteers for fall build season

Habitat for Humanity FM recently released its fall volunteer schedule and is inviting community members to join the organization on the build site as the construction season continues.

Thanks to the efforts of summer volunteers, the homes are now roofed, framed, and sheathed. The remaining exterior work includes siding, landscaping, sod installation, rock beds and deck construction before crews transition fully to indoor projects.

Volunteer opportunities are available on the following dates:

• September 30: Siding
• October 1: Landscaping, sod and rock beds
• October 6: Siding
• October 7: Siding
• October 8: Siding
• October 15: Landscaping, sod and rock beds

Habitat for Humanity FM encourages anyone interested in giving back to the community to consider volunteering. The organization welcomes individuals of varying skill levels and provides an opportunity to help local families achieve safe and affordable homeownership.
