Habitat for Humanity FM welcomes new executive director Katherine Halvorson

Habitat for Humanity FM is excited to announce its new Executive Director, Katherine Halvorson.

Halvorson joined the organization this summer, succeeding Jim Nelson, who retired at the end of June after leading Habitat for Humanity FM for nine years.

She brings more than 20 years of local experience building and leading teams, setting vision and developing strategies for growth and community impact. Most recently, Halvorson served as Director of Annual Giving and Donor Connections at Concordia College.

Halvorson understands that affordable housing helps build strong families and stronger communities, and she is honored to join an organization dedicated to making homeownership possible for more people in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

The Habitat for Humanity FM team is excited to have a new leader at the helm and looks forward to the future under Halvorson's guidance.
