July Golf Outing Recap

What a perfect day for the July golf outing!

With sunny skies and high spirits, the BIA Golf Tournament at Hawley Golf and Country Club was a fantastic success. All golfers competed for a chance to take home the BIA of the RRV Golf Tournament Champs trophy. The July 2026 tournament champions were Aaron Kochmann,Kochmann Brothers Homes; Jerrod McPherson, Winn Supply; Trent Sovde, The Fargo Flooring Store and Eric Gilles, Holm Construction.

A huge thank you to Forest Products Direct, our tournament sponsor, for their generous support. We also want to recognize the incredible volunteers who contributed their time and effort to the June  golf outing. From setup to cleanup and everything in between, your commitment played a vital role in making the day run smoothly.

The Great Ball Drop brought another exciting turnout and big win! Trent Sovde with The Fargo Flooring Store had the ball that landed closest to the hole, taking home $1,640 in winnings. Ryan Schuette from Enclave also walked away with $100 for the ball that traveled farthest from the hole.

Along with the Great Ball Drop, we wrapped up the day with a variety of prize giveaways and plenty of lucky winners, pictured below: 

Bob Miller, Cass County Electric Cooperative, won the Red Dot game, receiving a Scheels gift card.

Reid Anderson, Muskox won the BIA Foundation prize which was a cooler full of goodies.

Parker Simonson, Forest Products Direct, took home the Professional Women in Building Council's toolbox

Brock Goossens, Hawthorne Custom Homes, won the PWBC giveaway.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota prize went to Laura Monley, Cass County Electric Cooperative.

Other winners, not present, were Mike Greseth who won the Forest Products Direct prize, Charlie Erickson who got the Sherwin Williams prize and JT Froning was awarded the U.S. Compliance prize.

To top it all off, we challenged golfers to wear their wackiest t-shirt—and they delivered! The winner of the contest was the tournament champions, who took home, and shared, a fishbowl of goodies. Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to all our winners!
