Laqua family continues to be boots-on-the-ground for Down Home

The Laqua Family has been a consistent supporter of Down Home (DH), and Nov. 18 was no exception as they sponsored their 7th move-in. They brought along a blended Team of Muscle and together, did the heavy lifting of furnishing a home for a family emerging out of homelessness.

Steve Laqua shared, “The DH experience changes people every single time and not just the family being served. It impacts everyone. Watching so many people jump in together to transform a space that will completely change someone’s life… you can't put a price on that. It’s special in a way you can definitely feel.”

DH empowers lives and stabilizes those emerging from homelessness by furnishing homes, strengthening connections and transforming communities. Founded in 2017, DH has served over 250 families, providing further connections beyond the move-in day. To find out more visit down-home.org.
