National Association of Women in Construction of Fargo-Moorhead hosting Block Kids competition

Opportunities Fun Facts

NAWIC Members and friends in the construction industry are invited to be a part of the Annual Block Kids competition, taking place on Sunday, Oct.27, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Girl Scouts Dakota Horizon Office in Fargo. Now in it's ninth year of partnership with the Girl Scouts, the event is seeking judges, sponsors, and volunteers.

About the Block Kids Building Program

The Block Kids Building Program is a nationwide competition, organized by local NAWIC chapters, designed to introduce children in grades K-6 to the world of construction and to spark interest in construction careers. Winners from each chapter move on to the regional competition, and a semi-finalist from every region is selected for the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF) National Competition. Further details about the program and the event are available in the attached flyer.
