Robert Gibb & Sons, Inc. recently celebrated the retirement of Rick D. Laverdure, a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker who spent 28 years with the company.

Rick joined the Gibb team in 1998 and dedicated nearly three decades to the sheet metal trade. Throughout his career, he was known for his experience, strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to quality craftsmanship. When asked what advice he would give to younger people entering the trades, Rick encouraged them to stick with their apprenticeship programs, noting that the investment of time is well worth it.
As he begins retirement, Rick is looking forward to enjoying time away from the shop and embracing the opportunities of this next chapter. Robert Gibb & Sons expressed its gratitude for Rick's many contributions over the years and the positive impact he made on the company and his coworkers.
Congratulations to Rick on a well-earned retirement, and thank you for 28 years of dedication and service to the Gibb team. Learn more about Robert Gibb & Sons, Inc. here.
