Sarah Borders celebrates 25 years at Stenerson Lumber

This month, we’re recognizing a major career milestone in our building industry community. Sarah Borders is celebrating 25 years with Stenerson Lumber, a company she joined right after graduating high school.

What began as a summer job at age 18 quickly grew into a rewarding and lasting career. Over the years, Sarah has taken on a variety of roles within the company, gaining experience across departments and continually contributing to the growth and improvement of the business. As a fifth-generation member of the Stenerson family, she carries a strong legacy with pride and purpose.

Her involvement with the BIA-RRV has also played a part in her professional development. Participating in events has helped her build new connections and strengthen her presence within the industry, giving her more confidence and a broader perspective.

Sarah attributes her career longevity to hard work, a passion for what she does and the meaningful relationships she has formed with employees, customers and vendors. She’s proud to work alongside a team of experienced and dedicated professionals. At the Moorhead location alone, ten employees share a combined 193 years of experience, and Sarah is grateful for the contributions of everyone across all locations who have been part of her journey.
