The BIA-RRV is thrilled to celebrate two special teammates who recently graduated from college! We are so proud of everything they have accomplished during their time with the BIA-RRV and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.
Maddy Stuvland graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) May 16 with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with minors in advertising and public relations and media analysis.
Maddy has been with the BIA for about nine months and enjoys creating graphics, posting on social media and talking to members. Maddy has been to numerous events, but of all the events she has worked, the golf outing is her favorite. She loves capturing photos of the teams and sponsors' little moments throughout the day.
Hannah Johnson graduated from North Dakota State University (NDSU) May 17 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She has interned at the BIA for over two years — dedicating time away from school to our team! Hannah enjoys being involved in the planning process of events, ensuring that all the moving parts come together smoothly. Of all the events she has worked on, her favorite has been the Home & Garden Show; she finds it rewarding to see all the planning, organizing and little details come together in such a big way.
Maddy plans to stay with the BIA part-time over the summer while seeking opportunities to work within the education sector, helping educate students about future endeavors and career opportunities. She finds assisting students to realize their potential rewarding.
Hannah will conclude her internship in early June. She hopes to work in marketing and events as she likes being involved in planning processes, finding it satisfying to see all the effort and planning come together.
BIA Executive Vice President Krista Mund says, "Our interns are extremely valuable members of our small-but-mighty team. They are vital to the BIA's operations as they learn on the job while contributing their incredible skills to further the Association's and the Foundation's missions. We are extra lucky when students like Hannah and Maddy stay with us long-term. Best of luck in your future endeavors! You will be missed!"
