West Fargo electrical trade school expands access to western North Dakota students

Opportunities Fun Facts

PowerHouse, Magnum Electric's new electrical trade school, is now accepting applications for its next PowerHouse cohort.

Designed to address workforce shortages in the skilled trades, the PowerHouse program offers students a direct, debt-free path into the electrical industry through hands-on training and real-world experience.

In addition to supporting Fargo-area students, the program is expanding access to students from western North Dakota — specifically Bismarck — where comparable electrical trade school opportunities don't currently exist.

To remove barriers, the PowerHouse provides weekly transportation from Bismarck to Fargo so students can attend class once a week at the eastern North Dakota facility, 455 Christianson Dr. W., West Fargo.

The program stands out from traditional trade education models in that tuition is fully covered and daytime classes are held in a leading-edge training facility.

Magnum Electric, the school's sponsor, also operates a branch in Bismarck, making the program a natural extension of the company's long-term investment in regional workforce development.

Application deadline is March 1. Learn more: www.powerhouse-edu.com
