Western State Bank awards Western Achievement Scholarships

Western State Bank has awarded $500 Western Achievement Scholarships to 10 area students. 

This year’s recipients included the following local students: Kaitlyn Asheim, Zachary Hanson, Jack Josephsen, Grace Kunz, Nadir Mohamed, Mckenna Mohs, Charlee Rustad, Ava Schaff, Elyanna Schmitz and Sierra Seefeldt.

“We’re honored to invest in the future of students in our communities,” said Matt Oachs, Market President for Western State Bank. “The Western Achievement Scholarship is designed to recognize hard work and help students continue pursuing their educational goals.”

Western Achievement Scholarships are awarded annually to area students who plan to continue their education at post-secondary institutions. Scholarships are granted to full-time students based on their academic achievements, community efforts and commitment to quality education.
