Staff Update: Taylor Van Winkle has completed her time with the BIA after returning this January to assist for a few final weeks following her summer internship.
She is headed to Australia for a study-abroad experience, and we extend our sincere appreciation for her work with our team. She was assisting mainly with Home & Garden Show duties. Please direct future inquiries Paige Feeney or Hailey Bebler.

RRV Home & Garden Show Feb. 27 - March 1 is celebrating 64 years in 2026. It is the premier regional show displaying hundreds of home renovation pros, builders, cabinetry experts, landscapers, interior designers and home furnishers. Organized by the Building Industry Association of the RRV, this annual event typically attracts 7,000 – 9,000 attendees. Exhibit registration is open but the show is nearing capacity.

Home & Garden Show Exhibitor Reception Feb. 28 Exhibitors are invited to gather in the Beer Garden at the closing of the show to enjoy networking, appetizers and drinks. Each attendee will receive a drink ticket, good to use for one beverage of their choosing. Cost is free to show exhibitors.

Commercial Builder Roundtable March 19 Calling all commercial BIA members and those curious about the association! Join us for a roundtable discussion where we want to hear from you about the challenges facing the commercial side of our industry. This is a great opportunity to connect with peers who may be experiencing similar issues and to collaborate on solutions. We will also brainstorm how the BIA-RRV can play a role in addressing those challenges. Cost is free for members.

CPR, First Aid & AED Training March 24 This course equips participants with the essential skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Through hands-on practice and instructor-led demonstrations, learners will gain the ability to recognize emergencies, provide immediate care and take life-saving action while waiting for professional responders to arrive. Registration for members is $95.

Member Orientation April 9 Join us for a Member Orientation & Networking Mixer designed to help you maximize your BIA experience. Whether you’re a new member, a long-time supporter, or considering membership, this is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn and grow with us. Cost is free.

Purses, Pints & Power Tools April 16 Join the Professional Women in Building Council as they raise funds to provide scholarships for female students pursuing careers in the building trades. Only 100 tickets available for individuals 21+. Each ticket will include dinner, one drink and bingo cards. Bring a gently used purse or personal hygiene products to donate to a women-focused cause and receive an extra drink ticket. Cost is $50.

Quarterly Investment Review April 23 Join us for the Quarterly Investment Market Review, an exclusive session brought to you by BIA-RRV in partnership with Investment Consulting Services (ICS). This free, virtual, member-focused event will provide a concise and insightful overview of the key trends, developments and takeaways from investment markets. Cost is free for members.

Parade of Homes Spring Edition May 2-4 & 9-11 Since its inception in the fall of 1961, this community event has been a pillar of our region, rooted in the vision of local trendsetters in the construction industry. Over the decades, the Parade has grown into a celebration of craftsmanship and creativity, reflecting the spirit of home building in our community. Entry registration is now open!
